Only in a positive way.
We have a new on line sponsor which will be
announced at the regional finals and have recently signed up several new pub
groups. Our Team V Team trials have gone much better than expected and despite
the economy our player numbers are growing, hence the reason we have to move to
Luton
for the southern regional as Reading is too small and we have started a regional in the North West.
I note that some of our desperate competition
has started to write to our pubs. I can assure everyone that the prize pool we
offer is the best….how many are others sending to Vegas??? How many are going
to be in Birmingham for the £100,000 tourney? And it is about to get better with more
prizes to come.
I
know that many of you are interested only in poker but it is important that we
attract more people into our pubs and as such we will be launching two new
entertainment nights soon.
For all those dedicated PITP venues we will
be starting a marketing campaign to drive more players to our venues in October
and we will be offering a wider variety of Regional final prizes for the next
league. We also have a new marketing team so I hope you are patient with Emily
and Joanna as they have a lot to get through before October 18th
I will not be changing the scoring system
